Consider requesting a room away from the street to minimize noise disturbances during your stay in the early morning hours.

I checked into a double room expecting a cozy stay but got an accessible room with twin beds instead. A bit disappointing given the context. I need to mention the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean, tidy, and warm. The buffet breakfast had a massive choice, and I enjoyed the evening meals too—both a la carte and carvery options. Staff interactions varied from one friendly gentleman I chatted with to others who seemed rushed and unavailable when I needed something like milk for my tea or salt and pepper. Parking was ample and convenient. Despite the room mix-up and some service inconsistencies, I still had a nice time overall.

The room at caladh inn was spacious and cosy, perfect for relaxing after a long day. the location was ideal, just a short walk from the calmac ferry terminal. the staff were always pleasant and helpful and stress-free.
My only mild critique would be the dining options. they seemed a bit limited.

We had a fantastic time staying here! Exploring the beautiful white shell beaches and warm waters was a highlight. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious with a huge selection. If you're into outdoor activities, there's plenty to enjoy like hiking and bird watching.
On the downside, one of our rooms had a noisy extractor fan that made it hard to relax during the day.

Staying at this hotel was fantastic for my family. We loved visiting the nearby white sand beaches, perfect for a paddle in the sea. The kids especially enjoyed bird watching during our stay, making this a memorable trip for us all.
In my wife’s opinion, the room was too outdated and not very comfortable. A suggestion for improvement would be a better soundproofing system to help families with young children get a good night's sleep.

Comfortable stay with friendly vibes
I spent 3 nights as a couple and it was pretty nice. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was top-notch! The carvery on the menu was a hit too. The room was cozy, but we weren’t fans of the dinner menu—felt kinda young for us. Plus, the location is awesome for exploring.
